Bimbadeen is approximately 945 acres or 382 hectares. Topography of the country is hilly to undulating and the soil type consists of deep reddish to grey loam. Running through the property is deposits of quartz mineral rock. About 440 acres of the property is covered in natural timber. These timbers are predominantly grey- and white-box trees. There is a wide range of native grasses and vegetation that inhabit this timber country.
The property receives approximately 24 inches of rain each year. This is mainly a winter-dominant rainfall. The climate throughout the year is described as being very hot through summer and excessively cold in winter. Spring and autumn are the mildest seasons.

We are currently fundraising to meet the cost of a new tractor. At present we have raised $15,000 – our target is $55,000. This tractor will enable us to crop the country more efficiently.
The farm hosts a variety of people including church adult and youth groups, high school students, and general people looking for a change in scenery. There is always plenty of work to be found around the farm.
