This is an aerial view of the Home that was run by the Aboriginal Protection Board as it stood in 1979. The home had been closed finally in 1975.

Today there are available a number of books written from the girls' perspective of what the "Home" has and does mean to them.  Their stories range from a miracle to be alive to the "they" did everything to try to get rid of us.
